About Nicholas Beim
Passionate about entrepreneurship and international development, Mr. Nicholas Beim focuses his expertise in building businesses into helping others through his involvement with Endeavor. As a Board Member of Endeavor, Nicholas Beim helps promising entrepreneurs in emerging market countries build sustainable businesses. Through his work with Endeavor, Nicholas Beim has helped entrepreneurs in South America, Central America, Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
A General Partner at Matrix Partners since 2000, Nicholas Beim has invested in some of Matrix’s most high-profile successes, Nicholas Beim currently sits on the Boards of Directors of Intent Media, Conductor, Care.com, TheLadders.com, and Gilt Groupe. Prior to his work at Matrix, Nicholas Beim has served in roles with the U.S. Agency for International Development; McKinsey & Company; and Goldman, Sachs & Company. Nicholas Beim has also worked overseas for Sixty Minutes and as a researcher for the book “Charlie Wilson’s War” by George Crile.
Nicholas Beim received a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Stanford University and a Master of Philosophy in International Relations from Oxford University. Nicholas Beim maintains membership in organizations such as the Business Associates Club, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the National Venture Capital Association.
Nicholas Beim was formerly an instructor for Outward Bound, a nonprofit organization that encourages personal growth through outdoor adventure programs.
Mr. Nicholas Beim lives and works out of Boston, Massachusetts.
